Pierrel Pharma is the company of the Pierrel group which takes care of new drug products development, registration, marketing and commercialization of Pierrel branded dental anesthetics. Within the dental sector and through the Contract Manufacturing (CMO) sister company the Pierrel Group is the reference partner of leading international companies for the manufacture of their private label dental anesthetics.

The Group has more than 40 years’ experience in the development and manufacture of dental anesthetics for the international market. Following recent reorganization of Group Business Development and Marketing strategies, Pierrel has introduced a full range of updated state of the art dental anesthetics in Italy since 2008, based on Articaine, Mepivacaine and Lidocaine; with and without adrenaline. Today the group is in rapid expansion throughout the world with Pierrel Articaine launched in the US market in 2011, under the brand name Orabloc, introduced in Canada and Russia in 2012, in Germany, UK, Poland and Austria in 2013, in France in 2014. At the moment Pierrel Pharma is involved to get approval in Middle East and African countries for all his dental anesthetics.

The local anesthesia sector has been “core business” for The Pierrel group since 1960 and through a very close scientific collaboration with LRA world leading Companies, like Astra AB, Pierrel soon became the Italian leader of the local anesthesia sector, both in loco-regional anesthesia (LRA) and dental anesthesia for decades. The Pierrel Group currently produces dental local anesthetics for Europe, USA, Australia, Canada, Russia and The Middle East, not only its own brand names but also international brand names for leading Multinational Companies operating in the dental anesthesia sector. Today Pierrel is one of the largest manufacturer of dental anesthetics in Europe and has two indipendent state of the art dental cartridges manufacturing departments. One department is approved by AIFA (Italian Pharmaceutical Agency) and EMA (European Medicine Agency); the second, more recent, state of the art dental cartridges production department, was approved for aseptic production by AIFA/EMA in year 2009 and by the FDA in year 2010.
